I have a 17.5% car loan and the pay off amount is ,538
Orig loan amount ,739.
The car may be worth ,000 at the most.
5 year loan that I am three years into.
I will be coming into some big money soon and I was wondering if I can negotiate with the car finance company
or will I have to pay the full pay off amount: ,538?

I’m planning to buy a car through finance option. I would like to ask on how to get a good finance deal with both the dealer and the bank on finance deal. Can anyone help me enlighten on these topics as this is my first loan!!

When you apply for an car loan, do you get the same answer/amount no matter where you go?

I applied at my credit union for an car loan and they gave me an answer of X amount. If I go straight to a car dealer about car financing/loans, will they give me the same answer of X amount? That being said, is it the same everywhere or do businesses/credit unions/banks each have their own unique judgement?

I recently filed for bk, got my discharge paperwork in January.
I want to re-establish my credit, and my attorney said a car loan would be the thing to do, since you can get a car loan fairly easy after bk. What i want to know is who are the companies that will work with you if you’ve had a bk-the ones that will give you a loan and not try and not trick u? Any responses are greatly apprectiated.

I am looking to get a used car and I want to finance it through my bank. How do car loans work? Do I need to find a car first or do I get the money from the bank first? What if I get a loan for 12k and I find a car that is 10k – do I need to give back the extra 2k?
